Window Panes Transparency (here: Bus)
Usually it's no problem to give windows the wanted transparency by choosing an Opacity value between 0 and 100%
In case of the marvelous Vintage London Double Decker Bus (https://www.daz3d.com/vintage-london-double-decker-bus) it's pretty different.
No matter what lightning I install the view from outside into the bus produces darkness and strange colors of the interior, particulary the passengers.
When I choose the surfaces of the window glass there are shown even TWO: in and out.
The IN-Glass promises to be easy to adjust by the well-known dial of opacity percentage. But why does it extend to minus ... % ??
The bigger problem is the OUT-Glass: There is no option to change that value at all. But lots of other things I don't know whether they might help to make the glass almost invisible. And I'm tired of experimenting with it all since nothing brought me closer to my wanted result. If the glass was selectable as an object I would even delete or make invisble it.
Hopefully somebody is able to help me since I had arranged an elaborate scene inside already and it was made for a special angle of view from outside the bus.

You are rendering in 3Delight, not Iray, yes? Just to make sure because you didn't state which engine you are using.
You're not mentioning which render engine you use. Those are 3delight shaders so you should render with 3delight. Since the windows are double layer make sure in the render settings ray trace depth is minimum 2 so rays can penetrate both layers. The inner glass is a default DS shader so setting opacity to a low positive value like 20 should fix that. The outer layer is a caustic glass shader so opacity is obviously controlled by the caustic opacity strength color, darker makes it more transparent, white is opaque. Or it could be the caustic opacity color which in your screenshot is set to pure white. Not sure but try setting it to a mid gray and see what happens. Or you can apply the DS default shader to the outer glass and use same settings for both layers. The default shader is found in your contentlibrary/shader presets/DS defaults. Before you do anything, check ray trace depth and set it to atleast 2, and make a spot render of the window. If that doesn't solve it you have to try adjusting those shadersettings;)
If you're rendering in Iray you have to apply an Iray glass shader to both layers to make it work.
