New 4.6 crashes immediately

I just installed the 4.6 version, replacing 4.5. When I start it, I get the splash page, and a status bar on the bottom of it says a few things, then, "Building interface...", then it all disappears.

I have watched the program manager and see the process come and go very quickly.

When I first installed it, I saw a Norton Protection popup from my system tray saying something about it blocking an unsafe program. During the install of Daz 4.6, I recalled seeing how it now uses a port for the content manager service. I'm suspecting that Norton is blocking its use, but I cannot find any program / special handling in the firewall interface mentioning Daz.

I've rebooted several times and have uninstalled, reinstalled Daz 4.6. Same same.

Ideas?

Upon further exploration of Norton, I came across the log of the incident...

5/23/2013 11:21:38 AM,Medium,Unauthorized access blocked (Access Process Data),Blocked,No Action Required,

I'm looking for a way to allow Daz to do this...

Hmm... I run DS4.6 and yes it uses a port address to talk with the CMS. My Nortion never complained once. I'm sure it's the same as the port from DS4.5 which you could run I believe. No Idea what happened for your Firewall to suddenly decide it's not allowed.
