It's listed, but is not an active link, in the V5 pro package, but I can't find it offered anywhere else.
Comments
Only available in the pro package or the Genesis Michael Victoria Combo Bundle
It's in the Stephanie 5 Pro Bundle too.
Thanks for the links. I'm not going to pay over $100 just to get one package.
To those who have been following this thread, Daz makes a product called "Genesis Body Morph Resource Kit 1" for about $20 that contains a few morphs that create a genital crease on a genesis female.
About the female genitalia: I found in different bundles an item called female genitalia.
In the Stephanie 5 pro bundle it's called "geo crafted female genitalia" on the product list but in the product library it's listed as "Female Genitalia".
My question: is the "Female Genitalia" the same product as the "Geo Crafted Female Genitalia"?
I ask that because I bought a bundle with it and when I tried to use a product that should add morphs to it, it never worked.
It's possible the product may have been updated and the morphs are now incompatible. I can't imagine why an update would kill morphs built on it, but it's the only explanation I can think of. As far as I'm aware, Daz only made the one so the product you get it with shouldn't matter.
I don't know, but something is not normal: in the "read me" it's said :
"You can find new icons for this product in the following DAZ Studio Categories:
“Anatomy:External”
Well... I haven't any folder called "external" for this product, only materials and it's only the mats for the M5 Phillip Gen.
When I set to wireframe, I can see that the female genitalia seems to have lot of polygons hidden inside.
but funny if we can't use any morphs with it, even if it was morphs on the former version....
It's morphs that give a better result in the body morph kit, I bought this bundle only because it's "not absolutely complet" and I wanted to make something more realistic.
But, honestly if it's impossible to use morphs on this attachment, again I am disappointed by the commercial politic of Daz.
This bundle is 124 USD....
It's GeoGrafted, not geo Crafted, referring to the way the mesh is attached to the figure and yes, that's it. The material zones were changed, breaking old material sets, but I wasn't aware that the mesh had been changed in such a way as to break morphs - are you sure the morphs are for the DAZ Genesis Female Genitals? There is another set, I believe. Are you sure you are installing them correctly?
The Anatomy:External is a category, not a folder on disc.
Yes, looks like the location for the Male genitalia is Anatomy:External, but the female is in Anatomy:Real-World:Female
I uploaded it by the DIM. In my library it is in "people" => "genesis" => "anatomy".
And what about the "read me"? They said we can find icons in "anatomy","external"?
Which icons?
I haven't any morphs and I haven't any sliders except those for translation, scale, etc, in the parameters when I select the female genitalia.
Some of you have sliders or morphs with this product?
The read-me is incorrect, it's in Content Library > Categories > Default > Anatomy > Real-World > Female
Ok, but it's sliders or morphs to modify it or not?
The sliders you're looking for may only appear when you create a brand new character, not when you try to find them for a character you have already created.
sorry, it's seems that it's a misunderstand. I don't talk about a character, but about an attachment.
It seems that some people have this attachment in their libraries..
I only ask if they have morphs or sliders to modify it when they apply it to a genesis and when they select it.
I precise: I have this product, I can apply it to a genesis, but I haven't morphs or sliders in parameters nor in shaping to modify it.
the product is: "Female Genitalia" aka know as "Geografted female genitalia".
Adam Thwaites of MOSTDigitalCreations also did a product for V4 called Anatomically Correct. There were different iterations (the later ones texture only) but the first one is morphs for V4 to add anatomical orifices. They convert extremely well to Genesis via GenX.
I find this whole topic of genitalia (male or female) to be both amusing & frustrating!
DAZ appear to have a serious issue about the human body (well the "naughty bits" at least, that borders on the downright childish.
If I am going to get all offended every time I see male or female genitals, why the hell would I get on the internet? Seems one cannot view anything on the net these days without some random persons' genitals being thrust in our general direction :)
What really ticks me off is the product info on the DAZ web site showns the genitalia features "greyed out" & they have been this way for over a year now. I seem to recall seeing something about they will be released in the future (the meaning of greyed out features), yet we are still waiting.
I notice someone commented the genitalia are in the M5/V5 Pro bundle, but I for one am not going to fork out even more money for a product which 1: I already own most of the stuff in the bundle & 2: you guessed it, the genitalia are still greyed out (meaning future release?)!
I am dubious.
I am not going to spend more money on the promise these features will ever be released.
C'mon DAZ, you've released a great product, if all you are worried about is stopping the kiddies from having access to the "naughty bits" only make it purchaseable after age varification. Then let's bloody well have at it!
A word of caution DAZ. If you do not supply products people are asking for, you will lose your customers. From my experience customers only tend to stay frustrated for so long, before they are simply not there anymore. But your business, your call :)
They are not "greyed out" -- there is no individual product, therefore no hyperlink to an individual product. The Genitalia have been available for well over a year, but only as part of the Pro bundles.
DAZ offers Paypal as a payment option. If they offered content that can be classified as "pornographic," they risk losing the ability to do that (Paypal does not support adult merchants). They're not prudes, hence the offering of the anatomical bits for artistic use to begin with, they just have a line to toe like most online merchants do.
There is only a separate morph on the female genitals which can be found in the Parameters tab under Actor>Female or in the shaping tab.
The latest version no longer has the Separate morph.
thanks for the answer, BWSman & jestmart.
I think that shows clealry where is the problem.
It's not a technical issue but actually a problem with adult content.
I find really dishonest that they didn't inform customers about this fact.
I think that I will ask for a former version of the genitalia or a refund.
the genitalia is only in bundles... expensive bundles. (really expensive bundles!!!)
And when you buy them, the thing that you wanted is not working.
Sorry, but it's not acceptable.
And if they want an adult secured mean of payment, it's no so hard to find a solution.
And thanks SickleYield, I will search about that with the hope that works on a Mac.
Just a quick tip, in case it hasn't been mentioned yet:
If you have trouble locating a model or mat-pose (this doesn't work with morphs, though) and don't know what its name is, you can look for it in your Content directory under "products" (look through the alphabetical subfolders until you find the correct product)
Clicking on that product will display all components and sub-components of that product with the exception of morphs-- this includes prop bodyparts such as the Geo-Crafted Female Genitalia. (It's also the easiest way to find your downloadable products that didn't come with a Metadata file)
DAZ offers Paypal as a payment option. If they offered content that can be classified as “pornographic,” they risk losing the ability to do that (Paypal does not support adult merchants)
I hate that corrupt company with a passion. I don't know why any vendor would want to use them as a payment option with all the crap they pull, esp. regarding the indiscriminate, zero-tolerance freezing of assets for asinine reasons. I always boycott them when possible.
Back to the subject though, it's not just Paypal; a lot of advertisers also refuse to service sites with adult content of any kind, including "breastfeeding" (which I think is truly asinine-- the breastfeeding part, that is. Oh, no, she's engaging in a perfectly normal, non-sexual biological function that we aren't hard-wired to find disgusting due its association with disease spread! Cover your eyes!)
