I've still got quite a bit of work to do (lighting and possibly posing), and quite a few more purchases to make (backdrop and tattoo pack), but I thought it would be a good idea to take a quick test render of my idea and present it to you guys for critique. So if anybody wants to tear me apart I'm all for it.

    Ya, we don't generally do much tearing around here lol.

    Great posing, her hand in the pocket is very well done.  The cigarette pose needs some work, speaking as an ex smoker, I rarely held a cigarette like that.  At least, a real cigarette lol.

    Thank you! I've made some adjustments with that hand, I think it looks better now. I've also applied a tattoo to the midriff area, changed the hairstyle, and also made some changes to the skin tone. I think I just have lighting, a background, and then maybe some postwork to do and then I'll be done :)

    I like the tattoo and the hand with the smoke looks better and its easier to see what she is holding.  Look forward to seeing you finished scene!

    Hi everyone, just an update on everything:

    The render that I was working on I had to put on temporary hold because of time (school and work) constraints as well as money constraints. I do have an updated version though that I'd like to share. I've also been working on a mini side project (I had to do some blurring). I'm just about done with it; I kind of feel that I ought to add a boxing ring in the background so that my character feels grounded but other than that I'm fairly pleased with the result. Would love to hear your input :)

    Do you have a deviant art page? Or a gallery at Renderosity?  You can post at either one of those places without having to worry about nudity...

    Yes I do, but I'm planning on waiting to post until I'm totally finished
