What programs on a Windows 7 computer conflict with Poser 9 so Poser 9 won't run

Hello,

Interesting problem.  Poser 9 won't run on my main computer but it runs great on a fresh laptop with no programs yet on it.

Ok, so this leads me to think that Poser 9 won't run on my main desktop (Windows 7) due to another program conflicting with it somehow.

Maybe they want the same registery place, I don't know.

Can anyone tell me or guess what kind of programs won't let Poser 9 run on a Windows 7 computer ?   Someone said they thought

Internet Explorer 9 might be the program.  I am running IE 11.

AND if you have had this problem and you fixed it, oh please give details.

The only thing I can think of, that I recall hearing about a long time back, is that an upgrade of IE caused a version of Poser not to work, but a fix was issued.  What versions of Poser andf IE those were are lost to me in the mists of time and not really caring as I use neither.

IE 11  and the fix was to stop IE updating to 11.  It is still available on the MS website.

Installing the latest service release (3.2) to Poser 9 will fix any IE 11 related issues...
