I've been playing around with daz for two weeks and decided to try to create a character based on Leelee Sobiesky.
This took me three evenings to get to its current state and I'm reasonably happy with how the face turned out so I just wanted to share it.
The shadow cast by the background tree was a happy accident, I really like how it keeps her face and shoulders from blending into the background too much. The tight depth-of-field and foreground bushes were mainly added to mask a nasty cornrow effect in the grass.

Looks pretty good for only using Daz Studio for two weeks. Keep it up. :)
Wow what a great start to making characters!!!
Keep up the great work Asgeir!!
I've been reading a bit on the rule of thirds and three-point lighting and came up with this render.
The halo caused by the 3000K key and back lights shining on the blonde hair came up in another test I was doing and I wanted to create an image based on that.
