Renamed and Repurposed Xinxin Aiko Thread

Was the "Splitting hairs - cartoons, political or historical art?  Mods?" thread, but got no clarification on historical cartoons, so share some Aiko thread

Have one idea that I know is fine (tribute to Spy v Spy in Mad Magazine), but one that flirts with the "no politics" standard.  At what point is a political cartoon just an historic piece of art which we can try to mimic as an exercise, and when would it be worthy of getting deleted and a closed thread?

 

For example, I think that I can practice line rendering by doing a tribute to a classic 1800s Thomas Nast cartoon. See below.  Or can I?

    looks easy to do :) looking forward to it - so I find XinXin in my runtme - never knew - she must have snuck in the back way
