Here's something you might find useful. I already made a version for myself, but due to a request seen in a recent thread, I spent a little time sprucing it up for DS and for Poser, while adding the metric version of the background. Available now on ShareCG.

You are all very welcome. I was happy to do it, even though getting the scale correct was a nightmare, believe it or not! This simple prop took about 4 hours to make properly, LOL. I thought about making a prop that can be used for mugshots... the name board that shows your arrest info, but it would be too hard to customize.

I don't think it would be hard to customize. A simple rectangle, a slight inset on the face of it. Assign a material zone for the name/number, and set the others as another material zone. UVmap, and zip with the texture map produced. Folks could easily use a white or black paint and any font to type whatever name or number etc in the map for a scene...

Heck, you wouldn't even need to inset the faces... just select some of the faces on one side of the object and name them something like "nametag" or something. I thought about doing this after I saw your prop as well. Wouldn't take long to do, I don't think.

Nah, making the sign would be very easy. The problem would be whether people would want to make their own lettering or not. If I were really industrious, I could provide a board with a material zone set for the location of each letter and then presets to click to fill in the letters. Hmm, I think I might work on that. The idea would go well with any signage, really.
