Carrara render nodes on Windows Server 2003?

Hello all. I'm contemplating re-purposing some old web servers running Windows Server 2003 to become rendering nodes for Carrara (and maybe Poser network rendering machines as well).

The Carrara system requirements I've seen don't specifically list the operating systems supported for rendering nodes, so I'm wondering if anyone knows definitively if this will work -- and any pitfalls/problems likely to be encountered with this conversion.
