Totte #1  Haha, the refreshment seller looks very confident. Does he sell love potions to the sisters? (I see they are driving over your beautiful Bailey Bridge.)

    Hi everyone,

I’m not sure I’m playing correctly this time.  It's not really cover art, and nothing to do with a book or film.

A bit of background.  At ‘The Commons’ someone had posted of photo of a moose.  Not something you see everyday!  I thought it was cool, and playfully inserted alternative plural forms of a moose.  (Mooses?  Mousse?)

Then someone posted, “A moose once bit my sister...” along with link to intro credits from Monty Pythons 'Holy Grail.'

I’d had been wondering “What am I going to do with this pull?”  (Wants me to do wardrobe)

“Put a moose in it!  Nothing to do with my pull, but would be fun...”  (Unfortunately a moose prop costs $14.95 -- so much for that idea.)

Anyway, long story short, ‘auto-correct’ did not want me incorrectly typing the word “mooses.” That gave be an idea about other silly things autocorrect doesn't do: fails to catch correctly spelled words used out of context, and it's clueless on homonyms... devil

Anyway, thank you for reading & hope you enjoy!

Tynkere pull #001 (Almost all wardrobe as mentioned)

    Spell Czech

"Park officials at the small town of Sulphurous-Springs, commissioned a statue near the village green.  The contract was supposed to read,Streaming bird statue.”  But when HAZMAT discovered the contract actually read, Steaming bird statue” (venting smelly fumes from the sulphurous springs) it was too late.  Some villagers had already panicked at the end result..."

@Sapphirewild #2  Ah!  At last a  sequel to Judge Dred. I wonder if Sly Stalone will be up for a reprise of his role from the first movie.  good one!

@Totte   confinement corridor and a space environment.... that s almost a deja vu of my first draw

    @ Gopherus & SaphireWild

Thanks!  Was kind of disappointing-- had a 'proper' traffic circle & base for statue, park office, and an emergency truck for HAZMAT team.  Too much stuff in there for my puny machine.  Geometry gobbled up 16GB of RAM before card could even start iterations.  Windows then stopped the process.

“The system is low on memory.  Please save your work.”

    How?  You've already killed it!

Anyway, render lacks context, but hopefully tells a story. smiley

    @ Totte

So does pull #1 one meet the theme?   Still not sure if it’s really “Judged by the Cover” or not.  Won't clutter up official entries until then.

One other question.  (I didn't see it in the rules.)  What are the odds of this happening?

Pull #2 (monks are popular this time around)

#119 Fantasy Friar Outfit for G3M - Ivan 7 (already used in pull #1)
    #266 Olympia 8
    #223 M2 Bradley Tank
    #145 FWSA Zander for M8

    thanks for reading!

It's in the rules: The three is a curse rule, pull the same item three times and you can repull. I've had camels and boundless journey in so many entries, often in the same render too..

Thanks.  Into the contest it goes!.

Heh.  Could probably have 32GB of RAM for what I've spent at the store.  Wouldn't be as much fun though.  : )

    As for experience...

    Titled: Need To Be Judged

Jake was on the run once again because he had just robbed the clothing store "Le Chateau" and was still wearing the clothes. Bounty hunter Bethany and the sheriff Juda were hot on his heels. They were not going to let him get away. He needed to be brought before the judge before six O'Clock because that was when the judge was leaving town for his fishing trip.

Tough one here was figuring out what to do with a tank.

Anyway, hope you enjoy & thanks for reading!

    Abbie Rode

"Lady Abigail-- affectionately known as Abbie-- decided to do a fund raiser for army veterans by riding on a tank.  After she’d ridden atop the tank, she’d pause to have a photo op.  The idea was to auction off an autographed first edition print.  Inexplicably, some collectors who showed up to bid at the auction were disappointed."

    PS:

@ Luci, Goperus, Saphirewild, and Totte

You're really setting the bar high for me here.  Not sure my computer even do some of those renders... Fun though!

That's a nice one Tynkere, fun indeed! And about that bar, that is high, and without anything to wet your throat with, that's why we have two categories, funniest and best. An image can be very fun without being a render masterpiece, and an image can be a masterpiece, without being fun.

@tynkere #2  another great pun! i agree with Paul when given a choice between mods and rockers he said that he preferred mockers

@sapphirewild #3  And a sequel!  reminding me of Logan s Run... good one!

Thanks for kind words & encouragement.  Keep looking at Totte's 'Kwai" render & thinking... That isn't Carrara?  Wow...

    @ Saphire

Dragon rage + Pots & pans...  *That* should be interesting

    @  Luci

Also looks fun.  Children and an ATM machine...

    @ Gopherus

Like that about "mockers."  I think the wiki has Sir Paul's page messed up though.  Sir Paul McCartney, KG, OM, OEM, HT/OEM -- all kinds of titles!

That's Iray, and some tweaked settings from the "End of Tracks" set, but I'm happy myself that my bridge came out so good even though it's my first product and 2 1/2 years old now.

Keep returning to “Kwai” render & wondering about all the geometry for grass, trees, etc.  You must have a nice system.  : )

    @ Ostadan

Pleased to meet you as it were.   RRRR is fun and also great way for me to find out about products.  Had looked at one set (Studio Paris) that looks nice (and priced accordingly) but don’t know if props are rigged.  “Decorative Easel Set” or something similar for yours?

Also, (no pun intended here) nice to see an ‘artistic’ render.  Guess that’s why they have two categories.  : )  Cool!

    @ Luci

Like how you’ve left it to our imagination.  Rock band?  The man locked outside & looking through the in the window is probably their manager or agent who is miffed.  Or maybe has been stiffed?

    @ Gopherus

Heh.  Toulouse... “Louvre or bust!”  Actually busts might look better...

As for render, Male Pattern Baldness!  I think there should be a tax credit for toupees.
