how to get Daz 3 v4 clothes morphs working properly in Daz Studio 4?
in Daz 4 I haven't been able to properly apply a Low Waist clothing morph for V4 Hongyu's CowGirl5 Jeans...the jpg shows what I'm referring to...instead of morphing into a low waist it does a kind of doubling up of the belt loops and buttons.
I have Daz 3 installed and the morph applies properly in that program...I've made an obj of the morphed jean in Daz 3 and when I try using the morph loader in Daz 4 to apply the obj to a loaded CG5 Jean I get a message saying "no deltas for morph, skipping node,Created morph successfully.'....however there's no morph to be found .
what's the proper way of getting v4 clothes morphs into Genesis/Studio 4?
thanx

Check there isn't a second copy of the jeans parented to the first.
no there's not a parented second copy ....but thanks for the reply.
so is my attempt with the morph loader on the right track at all?....my only experience with .obj and .cr2 is creating single morph dials from multiple morphs for V4 characters using GenX...that process involves creating an obj with the character morphs and then using the morph loader to inject the obj back into a freshly loaded V4 and then export as a ,cr2....but that was all done using Daz 4....when I tried this same method in Daz 3 there is no morph loader to use like in Daz 4 or a way to produce .cr2 files.
years ago when Daz 3 was current I had a user made script that was able to produce cr2 files .. I was able to get this low waist CG5 jean working in Daz 4 once and I think maybe this program I reffered to was how I did it...but I can't recall who made it or for what purpose.
I was messing around and discovered I could import the obj I made in Daz 3 directly into Daz 4 ...by directly I mean not using the morph loader ...and I was able to get it to "fit" GF3 however I'm unable to properly apply textures because of the pant only having one group in the Surfaces tab.
is there a way to export this obj from Daz 3 with the textures or a way to apply textures once imported into Daz 4?
What are your OBJ Export options in DS 3? You may need to click the Show Options button at the bottom of the dialogue to see them.
I don't see any options when I export the obj out of Daz 3 other than the Export option under File.
I've experimented further with using the morph loader in Daz 4 and have been able to apply the Daz 3 obj "successfully"....at least that what the message told me with no warnings attached like the previous attempts and there is a Morph Loader morph dial showing....however when dialed to 1 the waist of the pant is lowered as should be but the result is all messed up as the jpg shows....is there a solution to this?
There's no dialogue box after you set the file name?
That means the vertex order is not being preserved - DS has no way of detecting that, as long as the count is right it will load the morph. That's the OBJ that was loading in DS 3? That would suggest that somehow the vertex order is being chnaged on load (which wouldn't be entirely surprising if the mesh is getting doubled-up).
