So over the last 4 months I have been producing a grafic story for youtube using Daz Studio and assets from Daz 3D and Renderosity. Here are some sample frames. If you are interested in seeing the finished product, you can find it here:

Wow, that is really very good. Renders are great. Love the different color speech bubbles that made it a breeze to know who is the speaker. Nice pace to the story. The story itself has depth and is interesting. Only crit might be that there was a lot of "telling" rather than showing. I think a lot of it was necessary, but perhaps CJ's backstory did not have to all be told at once and could have been revealed in another epie.

Thanks. This is kind of an organic process. Started off with the idea of doing a quick 10 minute introductory story, and just blew up a bit. I am still working on the pace. I have thought a lot about the balance between dialog and action, it's really hard on the first episode, because I wanted to give people some understanding on how the world works, and introduce the major factions. This is good feedback though, I am hoping to collect a bit more of that before I produce episode 2.
This was awesome, very well done! I see what WorldsEdge was saying but I also think that the first episode of almost anything can be a bit drawn out because you do need to have something that explains what's going on. I really like the overlay of the voice and the speach bubbles in the beginning, that was really cool and really set the tone. Looking forward to seeing more!
I was curious and forgot to ask you in the other thread - what program did you use to put your "movie" together with? I think it looked pretty seamless, and I'm considering doing something similar, but I'm not sure what program would be best for stringing the renders together would be. Any advice?
I used Magix Photostory, because I got it cheap on steam. I created the movie without sound, imported it into my DAW and produced the music. Then exported the music without video, and tied them together in windows movie maker. I also own proshow gold (also very good) which I bought for my wife because she is an amature photographer and has been doing slideshows for years for family events. I produce some music as a hobby. for those videos, and honestly this whole thing started as a venue for making visuals for short music videos, but I soon realized I could turn it into a vehicle for telling stories, and I love that.
