hahah That's so delightful! :D I love her robo-posse! The lighting, colors, and shadows all look fantastic too! Excellent render, Mollytabby!

    What an excellent render @Mollytabby!!

Thank you so much @Divamakeup and @Saphirewild smiley

She really is a cute character and the little robots I've picked up along the way as part of special offers. To be honest I don't think all the products together even cost me $10, and probably not even that. The textures of the freebie Sci-fi corridor are amazing.

Over on her thread @Novica has challenged us to convert something we'd already done to a toon. I totally misread this and created a toon and because I don't have Sketch Toon Edge and Art Style Shaders I used pwToon instead. Ah well, I should have re-read the challenge before I started, lol. I also used Manga Marker Shaders to change the eyes, brows and lashes before I did the pwToon shader work. The model is Dolly for Genesis 8 female.

It took me quite a few hours and I haven't really mastered the eyes with the pwToon shaders, but I'm happy with the way it turned out given this was a bit of relaxing fun.

I know I am way behind on your thread, but I wanted to say I love this. Well done.

@Diomede_Carrara thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind comments smiley

I haven't done very much with pwToon lately, I really should try something new.

The next three are using the new Catgirl Megapack for Genesis 8 Female(s)  I love product not only for the level of detail and rang eof skin textures but because I can use Genesis 8 poses, wardrobe and hair.

As you can see I've developed a fondness for rendering cat girls smiley

I picked up DA Real World Lighting in a recent sale. I love the product. I do a mix of 3DL and Iray renders, mostly 3DL as my Mac can't cope with complex Iray sets, but DA Real World Lighting has made me more willing to leave my machine running overnight even for a small render. Novica did a fantastic render using this product in her thread and I've had these lights wishlisted ever since. I wish now that I'd bought them sooner!

I bought Gianni 6 a few weeks ago. This is the first time I've attempted to convert him to Iray. I used Iray Smart Converter and Advanced Skin Managers for Genesis 2. No idea what settings I've used ... I just clicked on things until i got something I liked! I really should write everything down as I'm working but I get so engrossed in what I'm doing.

Full list of products used is in my gallery.

I'm only discovering this thread now. Very cool work! Varied, and all high quality. On this page alone I love "Space cadets" and the one with the Egyptian background.

I love using Daz Studio and I have a lot of fun doing different styles. I'm a bit like a butterfly ... I can never settle on doing one thing smiley

I am so totally the same way, that is why I call my thread randomness!

Love this one! What outfit is that. I'm drooling over those boots.

I really like what you did with the Gianni 6 conversion. He looks really good. And yes! Write things down! :)

Too late @Knittingmommy , lol, just been working on another image where I realised I should have been making copious notes!

The outfit in the Fisher Cat render is: Bijin Jigoku for A3 and I think I retextured using Aelflaed's Fancy - Shaders for DS and Poser

Because I render in both 3DL and Iray (this image was 3DL) I look out for older outfits and 3DL and Iray shaders when they are on a great offer. Not all outfits work out but the Bijin Jiqoku outfit is really easy to use shaders on.

Thanks! That's actually one of the few A3 outfits I don't have. I must not have noticed it because it wasn't even on my wishlist. It is now though. :) I have those shaders.

I've been rendering more in 3DL the past few months since I've been playing with animation. It's just quicker to render in 3DL. The good thing about that is my skills in 3DL are improving so I'm not just strictly doing Iray anymore. I still have a lot to learn about 3DL. I find Iray much easier to understand, but it's nice having the option to render in either now. :)

I must pay attention to my own art thread, lol. I missed this last comment @Knittingmommy ! I'm doing about 60/40 with 3DL/Iray and the main thing that is helping me with 3DL is IBL Master. It means I can use my HDR backgrounds and mix them with the 3DL light sets I been picking up cheap or free. It's a lot of trial and error and I've been using IBL master for months now but I'm starting to get a bit better at the 3DL renders. I haven't a clue about the science behind the rendering ... it more happy accident than anything else most of the time.

After seeing what Knittingmommy has been doing lately I've taken a leap and bought a character without the required base character. My budget doesn't run to Kinade 8 at the moment but I love what DisparateDreamer has created with Hana and I wanted to get her and do my own mixing to see if I could produce a figure I am happy with. This is my first attempt with her mixed with Lara, Aiko 8 and tweaked with Rarestone's Face Morph Collection for The Girl 8. She is rendered in 3DL using IBL Master.

@Mollytabby, I agree that Hana is a wonderful character and I recently used her skin material on a realistic character morph and had a wonderful result. DisparetDreamer created an excellent package for general use, not just anime/manga or stylistic styles.

Your work on the adjustments are simply lovely. So inspiring.

Thank you, @memcneil70, I really appreciate your kind comments. I'm getting to the stage where I have quite a few morphs I can drawn on but at the moment I'm playing with using Hannah just as she is. I'm finding that she is simply lovely and @Disparatedreamer has produced a fantastic 3DL product that is wonderful to use. I haven't even tried using Hana's Iray materials yet but I suspect they are the same super quality. I hope there are more characters planned by Disparatedreamer because I'll definately be picking them up.
