Pixar's Short "Burn-E" - An Interesting Approach (Inspired by Tom Stoppard?)

Here is a YouTube comparison of scenes in the Pixar short "Burn-E" and the movie "Wall-E". It reminds me of Tom Stoppard's play "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead", with the minor character's story happening in the foreground while the main play/movie appears sporadically in the background. In this case, I *think* the "Wall-E" footage is continuous, i.e. the timing is unchanged from the original movie. The scenes from the short are simply inserted over many of the original scenes, with some editing to make it fit.
Funny stuff with a great ending.
