Installing new purchases

I am pretty new so here is my question. After buying products I opened daz studios and installed them and actually did a render with them. But when I opened install manager it shows that they need to be installed. Do I need to install them in the install manager too?

In other words if I install them through daz studios and then again through the install manager I am installing them twice. Do I really need to do this?

No, you don't need to install twice. In Install Manager, in the Ready to Download tab, click the Download Filters button, scroll right to the bottom, and uncheck Connect Installed - that will hide any products installed through Connect from the download list in DIM.
