Rosa Eyes
So a weird thing is happening with Rosa. I just got this package today and they eyes seem to render transparent. When it starts to render it looks like it's fine but then it diappears. I checked to see if the opacity map on the eyes was dialed down for some reason but it's at 1.0
Anyone see what's happening here? Because she can't! Ha!!

Do they render correctly if you turn on Draw Dome in the Render Settings pane under Environment?
Her eyes do render correctly when in a scene. But when floating out into the Daz Macroverse...look into her eyes and you'll see "the beyond"
This is usually an issue with having the SSS Mode set to Chromatic - it seems very easy to have settings that produce this affect, though it is possible to use it safely. Selecting the eye surfaces and in the Edit tab of the Surfaces pane setting SSS Mode to mono will fix it, as will rendering with Draw Dome on (if you mainly want the dome off you could render like that, then do a Spot Render to a new window for just the eyes with the dome on).
Thanks Richard. I didn't regard it has a huge emergency. It's a great character and I have tons of compatible eyes. I like to use elements organic to the character when I can but there are plenty of times I prefer a different set of eyes. Good to know there are steps to use hers if I run into problems though. Thanks for the info!
