DAZ 4.6 64 bit fails to load after Install

Hi folks

On loading, I get the error message below.

Win 7 Home Premium, defender, firewall etc. turned off.

Have downloaded again, uninstalled, tried previous version - no luck.

I strongly suspect this is a Windoze/Registry problem, but am unable to solve.

Has anyone encountered this - or better yet, fixed it?

    This is my Event Viewer log:

    Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program DAZ Studio Application because of this error.

    Hmmm, everything is on the C: drive. Running CHKDSK.
