my car has a flat tire. So called AAA and a guy came out. He saw my spare and pointed to these wire metal thingies were poking out of the spare tire. I called my mechanic but he did not answer. i do not think he works on Sundays.

I got logged out of the forum a couple minutes after posting.

i started making a list of joint types - iffn anyone is interested

pivot joint - skull to spine
    ellipsoidal joint - wrist
gliding joint - in the foot
    hinge joint - ankle, knee
    saddle joint - thumb
ball and socket joint - shoulder, hip
    fixed joint - skull

from reading this siggraph paper, 'linear blend skinning' leaves much to be desired.

this website has some interesting stuff to study ://chrisevans3d.com/index.htm

i have a general idea of how i'm gonna piece most of Samson together. but vague on eyelids and i want him to have scapulas.

This video might give you some ideas, is for a Lightwave tool but shows how we mark up and sculpt from photographs - any 3D "knife" or "split" function with symmetry will do ;)

it's not so much the sculpting - (doing the modeling in wings), it's the engineering of it.
-a way to make it so the lid looks like it's in contact with the cornea, blinking over a curved surface.
-another thought, modifying the eye area can make the character look like a different person. set it up for easy geometry swapping?

    -arm abduction :ohh:

nothing wrong with the Firefly renderer that a little tweaking per scene won't fix ;)

Do you have one of those atm cards that is also a visa debit? it takes the money from your checking, but it processes through visa.

    it works for domins.

Well my most recent Pz2P protocol attempt was a bit of a failure.

Instead of delivering steamin' hot pizza through Pizza2Peer protocol, people ended up getting cabbage soup made out of sauerkraut. I suspect someone was poisoning the source.

Dominos does not accept checks. at least the location near me does not.

I do not have a debit card. i only have a check. I never got a new debit card after canceling my old one due to some scam company got a hold of the debit card and the only way to stop them was to stop the debit card.

The crust too or just the toppings?

Depends on version. Cabbage 1.0 does just the toppings, but Cabbage Sadist (second generation) also messes with crust, AND you won't notice until you bite in.

My desktop has rendered 1/3rd of my "so these characters are inside a raytraced-reflective metal box" picture. Going slowly, since I also have Visual Shaders in play plus Epic Wings with frost effect.
