buzzz buzzz tee hee.mukooma muttata - pina colada gonna try to dream friendly dragons. Gleep and Buttercup. Skeeve made friends with a graon and a unicorn. next render. 4 more days of day job, then it's 12 days of unpaid vacation. 12 days of poser w3d and chocolate martinis.
trying to decide if Hugh Jackman or chocolate martinis are yummier
How about Hugh Jackman making two chocolate martinis. One for you and one for him
oh yeah, now that would be a delicious dream. and if he spilled some on himself - oopsie - can't let it go to waste
but the problem is that both of you are wearing fluffy bunny suites. He is wearing a blue one and you are wearing a pink one. He spilled the martini on the fluff on the bunny suite.

Lunch at desk was a cheese and pickle sandwich in plastic wrap. Blech. Get to go home early in a while and go for a leisurely swim ;)
Pretty picture :3
The first line might be a bit misleading since it has nothing to do with the character or the image itself, but was meant to be a title/intro of sorts to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYkrTsju4gs
.
The game is "Perfect Cherry Blossom" hence the cherry in the title, and the 'pacifist' part means that it's an extra challenge - you're not to shoot the boss or (If you're feeling especially daring) use any life-saving bombs (YOu know those old arcade games? Use a bomb it clears the screen of nasty stuff. Not actual bombs.) Most people don't undertake the "No-Bombs" part because NO ONE is that insane.
.
But yeah, since most of the "spells" last 40 ~ 90 seconds and get more and more hectic and dangerous if you let the timer wear down... Pacifist runs on these sorts of games are only for people with inhuman reflexes and a looot of skill.
.
.
Yeah and the other thing...? They either last a long time or end VERY quickly. In this case it lasts a long time. 22 minutes to be exact.
...yep, everything's smooth as a baby's bum here.
...well except for (uh oh, complaints)...
...the ebot for this thread borked again (what's new?).
...one of the the buses I take to work didn't show up again this morning (second time in less than a week)
...co-manager at the day job will be gone for the rest of the week.
..but then (non complaints)...
...finally getting some summer-like weather and it's going to stick around for a while (especially nice after enduring the second rainiest June on record)
...made a big wok of stir fry dead bird and veggies for dinner and ate it all.
...had a light day at the day job (nice on a Monday) and was able to get out early again.
Randomness:
.
.
Age of Empires 1 - I enjoyed most of the campaign missions. The 1st Babylonian campaign was much fun, but a few of the later ones like "The Great Hunt" were insane. A few of the Roman missions left me with my jaw on the floor while I was looking at the probably 50+ elite units crammed into a tiny place.
.
Age of Empires 2 - Some of the campaigns were fun, but really I preferred AoE1's campaigns. The Tiny random maps weren't as "pretty" as they were in AoE1 nor as hectic. Eight players in a Tiny map would leave only two or three reaching the Tool Age and all the berries and gold mines crammed into one spot was visually appealing. Not so much in AoE2.
.
Age of Empires 3 - Despite the rather.... Odd... Campaign, I enjoyed a lot of it. Whereas the Saladin campaign in AoE2 was historic fiction, the campaign in AoE3 was fantasy plain and simple. It wasn't until the expansions that they returned to the historic themes again.
.
Age of Wonders 1 - Most brutal campaigns ever... Until I understood them better :3 I prefer the scenarios over the campaigns however. Even more interesting is that all of them are tied in to the actual history of the game unlike AoW2's scenarios which are usually either "Just for Fun" (As from what I can tell none of them are actual events in history, but some imply that they may have taken place.). I found "Diplomacy with Dragons" to be a particularly fun one with a funny but short backstory.
.
Age of Wonders 2 - Again I used to think the campaigns were way too difficult until one day everything just made sense. Then I started tearing through them like paper. Until I got to the "Air Campaign" and everything went downhill ^_^;
The "Secret" mission in the Air Campaign was fun but tough. I actually screwed myself over in it once by accident because I was supposed to recover this dragon's heirloom for her and I ended up dying with it and losing it (I didn't know about the quest itself until AFTER I got the artifact. :P )
.
Age of Wonders 2: ShadowMagic - For once the campaigns were fun but difficult, especially the Nomads. In their second mission you can win in two ways: Escort this prisoner to this city in the swamps (Which the AI are forbidden to enter), or wipe the floor with the Draconians. I find it easier to make a mad dash for the latter really, since by the time you make it to Ambir's city she's got truckloads of units. Funny thing, that in the Dark Elf campaign she finally appears again but as an ally, but she SUCKS. Once she even got defeated on turn 11 before I even found her! 'Course her AI is set to a very low level during that mission, and the enemy controls like 14 towns and half the map and has a very tough AI setting so yeah. Once I managed to get the Phoenix Summon from her :3
.
Age of Mythology - I L-o-o-v-e the campaign in this. Truly unique twists on classic Greek, Egyptian, and Norse mythology. And soooooo many of the missions are truly a BLAST to play! Draco Nifilheimus, the Nidhogg... Yeah you have to kill him in one mission but apparently he doesn't "die" since he comes back in the expansion. Maybe he was just injured. It's hard to distinguish between dead and injured in these sorts of games.
.
Age of Mythology The Titans - IMO they screwed up the game by adding the Titan unit. Otherwise woulda been a very good expansion pack. The campaign wasn't all that great but a few missions were fun to play. I really liked the random maps they added. Still, the original was better.
Two muffins are in an oven. One turns to the other and says "does it feel hot in here to you?”, The second muffin replies "OH MY GOD, a talking muffin!”

Complaint: I had to deal with my mom's brand of crazy. (Rampant paranoia.) Now I'm depressed and I just want to kiss a bottle of booze, mouth to mouth.
Chocolate Martini kisses?
why not treat yourself to a nice day out? clear your head and get some fresh air
Mm, I have only some of the ingredients needed. And we're due to some thunder and rain in a moment. I think I'll do retail therapy when DAZ updates the store today. I got Strigoi still in my shopping basket, and today is, IIRC, freebie day. If everything else fails, I'll cook/bake something delicious.
I'm just, y'know, down? She's going nucking futz, and there's very little I can do to stop it from happening. It is a trainwreck in slow motion.
Added background, a reason that adds stress: last week, this one older guy in my apartment complex (we have 3 buildings, 12 apartments of various sizes in each), had something go *snap* in his head. He took an axe, went to the nearby mall area shouting that "he's going to kill some kids", and then the police arrived and confiscated his axe, and I gather, collected him to the drunk tank overnight. Next day, after he'd been released (sans axe), a bit later, the police arrived with court order for involuntary commitment for a psych evaluation. Dude, you just don't do shit like that and go consequence-free, especially if you are big burly guy with an axe and raging, booming voice and look like someone out of a horror movie.
Now, okay. That guy had always been a bit oddish, and was our #2 Suspect to Eventually Go Overboard Nuts, but even so, that kind of outburst had been unprecented in every other fashion; his problems were mostly related to "can't quite figure out how to fit to society at large, and has no idea about how things work, which has resulted quite a lot of broken stuff (that he has recompensated to apartment complex association, though) and verbal warnings not to do X, Y or Z". (For the record, I think I am #3 or #4 suspect on that list; #1 has already gone nuts at several occasions, but apparently has her stuff more under control now.)
My mumsy is a defensive paranoid -- "they" are "going to get her", specifically her stuff, whatever she's fixated on at that moment; coffee cups, newspapers, money, and so on; she deals with this by hiding her stuff to "safe place" and then forgets, as she has memory of a gnat, therefore "they" have stolen the things. I think she has already alienated most of her neighbors, since I know for a fact that she has alienated most of her siblings and most of the old family friends; only a handful remains that can either handle her shit, or feel obliged to do so. I can't handle it, so I belong to "obliged" camp. We live some 100 miles apart (1.5 to 2 hours of travel one way), and I have tons of background (that I am not willing to share here) for why I'm not living in the same town as her, and trying to take care of her stuff (short answer: she drives me crazy).
So, yeah. Hurry up and update the store, would you, DAZ. I need some retail therapy right now.
I've always thought that Genesis Basic Male resembles David B., particularly here: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/leather-jacket-for-genesis/
Buffy is a fun show, and surprisingly intelligent. I'd always dismissed it as something I wouldn't enjoy, until I finally gave it a try on a friend's recommendation. Quickly got hooked and watched all the DVDs...then moved on to other Joss Whedon stuff like Firefly. :)
Skiriki, I hope the store has something to make you happy today. And I hope Real Life settles down a bit...
Pretty sure that Strigoi is going to make me happy for a while, as I can easily forget everything else while I tinker with new stuff. If anything, at times it is a blessing that I'm easily distracted...

maybe cuz the hair prop kinda looks like D's?
Spike was on Angel, can't remember which season. as a character, he earned a lot of sympathy.
he was good at making Angel seem evil in the flashbacks.
have you ever had one of those days at the day job when you can't do nuthin right? >:(
i assign tasks to a trouble ticket that was assigned to our center, but it was assigned to our center by mistake, so putting tasks on it was wrong.
then i see a ticket not assigned to us, so i don't assign tasks, and then that was wrong.
if 2 wrongs make a right, i'm golden
heh oh yes I had one yesterday, was so tired couldn't think straight :)
Morning. Wore myself out swimming laps (25m pool so easy to lap) and slept from 7 pm to 230 am. Is all dark and quiet nao :)

Art is great therapy, better to create than destroy ;)
Have days like that all the time.
Ooooh new Lightwave service pack (11.02) good stuff !
OMG, today's freebie is AWESOME. AWESOME!!!
wow happy campers ! LOL :) Now back to complaining: Dead of night here and nobody to talk to :)
Drop, drop, drip, drip. The sound you do not want to hear in your bathroom when you take your dialysis bandages off.
I never bled before without noticing it. Kinda freaked me out.
