Help with presets

Hello everyone Excuse me, i dont know if its the right place to ask for this, I use Daz 4.10 in my windows 7 64 bits core i5 , i know that my pc is not powerful enough, im just using Daz for fun ... The problem is everytime that i click in file wich contains "preset" in its name , the folder shuts down , even when i search in google for preset , chrome shuts down .... I dont know why It happens everytime when i do it , so i cant enjoy everything in Daz.. If any help , i woould be thankful.

    Are you double clicking on a preset file in a Windows window or in the Content Library inside the Daz Studio application? To correctly apply a preset you need to be in the Daz Studio application and gave a compatible object selected in the Scene pane. Then you can apply a preset from the Content Library or Smart Content. There are lots of good introductory videos on YouTube and even free ones in the Daz store. Daz Studio has interactive lessons you can run right inside Daz Studio. I think those will help you get started.

    That sounds like some sort of security setting that may be associated with whatever security software you are running. It certainly doesn't sound like a DAZ Studio issue based upon what you have said. Check the log files in your security software to see if it has been blocking the files you are trying to access.

    No , it outside the Daz app , it happens when i search in google chrome or if i want to open the preset files in My library and even now when i want to save anything as a preset in Daz also . I think that like #SixDs said it sounds like a security issue i didnt find anything abnormal , (i use malwarebytes and windows essentiels ) Thanks guys , and sorry for the late reply

    Hello again .. I figured out what the problem was : so i'll post it if anyone has or would hade the same problem : it was Eset nod antivirus What bizarre is that i uninstalled eset few years ago but it have stayed in registry system ... Wich created conflicts with anything that souded like Eset ( preset) Thats why the problem seemed to be related to Daz . I got rid of eset by installing the esetununstaller tool and the problem is solved ... Thanks for help guys ..
