Hi,

Featured Artist Catalogs get no discount, 60% off discount with purchase of new release (I'm Sorry Captain, But I Cannot Comply)

So Additional Purchase is required.

Is it normal ?

    and  yes the 60% works with a new today, I bought one by the same artist I bought a new from

    It's basically just a discount coupon. Kind of like you get in stores sometimes to the effect of "If you buy this item today we will give you 60% off any other item in our selected range of products". So yes, it's normal and yes, to make use of the discount you'll need to buy one of the items it is valid for.

    There's usually a smaller base discount on featured artist catalogs, and a bigger discount when you buy new stuff. This smaller base discount is not there today, that's why this sale seems a bit unusual.

    "No additional purchase required to buy the item at full price" seems kind of normal, why write it out like this? :)

    The featured new releases items do have a 30% discount. So you get the base item for 30% less plus you get 60% discount on any item from one of the featured artist's stores or 10% discount on a gift card. So I'm not sure what the problem is? You do have to have both the base item and an additional featured artist item (or gift card) in your cart in order to get the discount on the second item too. So for example if you buy Wargahn Alien and any item in one of the 9 listed artits's stores simultaneously you'll get 30% off Wargahn Alien and 60% off the second item.

    Edit: Okay I realized after I typed this that you mean there's usally a small discount on all items in the featured artist's stored regardless of whether or not you purchased a new item. I guess they're just trying out different promotion ideas? cheeky

    Yep, that's what I meant. There's usually maybe a 40% off if you buy without a new release, and the bigger discount with the new release. Then the text would make sense. With the current setup, it feels strange that Daz lets us know that no additional purchase is required to get the items at full price. I mean, that seems kind of obvious. :D
