Aspect Ratios

in Carrara Discussion

1920x1080 is supposed to be 16:9, but carrara is giving me 1:75.

 

How do i get itto 16:9?

    I think you are fine as is.

    here is what I did

    - In the render room, unclick the box that says "keep proportions"

    - in width, put 16

    - in height, put 9

    - click the box that says "keep proportions"

    - replace 16 with 1920 in width

    - automatically, 1080 appears in height because Carrara keeps the 16:9 ratio.

     

    EDIT: confirmed in my spreadsheet program that 16/9 = 1.78
