Using the "Tag" system in content library

Hello, is there anyway to see a list of tags I have previously used to tag content with? Otherwise, the tag system is not very practical as I would have to remember key words and what if for instance I tag something as "sock" instead of "stocking" by accident? When I go to search for one I wont find the others unless I do a search for both, assuming I not only spelled it correctly but remembered that I used it. Any help or pointers?
