    I understand your reasoning 

    but it is rather moot as DAZ very likely  do not read the forums anyway 

    product suggestions is possibly aimed at the few PA's who even do but mostly I think its a wishful thinking forum people just share their dreams and visions on before making it themselves or buying it elsewhere while the PA's churn out what sells.

    Forums are peer to peer.  If you have a suggestion regarding a program the best way to make sure Daz see it is to file a tech support ticket, heading it  "feature request"        

    Product suggestions is for products rather than core programs.  Program specific forums are for the various programs.

    so as they should

    what good is Carrara if they stop development and support?

    with the free version they would have increased both, the user base and the motivation to further development of Carrara
