Setting up DAZ Install Manager correctly

I am a Poser user, transitioning over to Daz. I am having difficulties installing and finding content in Daz. I am used to installing content through the Conten Manager for Poser, but I have not figured out how to easily install everything into Daz.

I tried following the Daz beginner's tutorial, setting up the Barefoot Dancer. Even though I believe I installed the Genesis Essential files, the Barefoot Dancer did not load. Today I tried opening a document I worked on a few days ago and Daz couldn't find placed content.

I would love to get this to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

PS: I posted a similar question already on Friday, but didn't see it on the forum.  Is there a way to get e-mail notifications?

Click the star at the top of the page, on the same line as the title, to bookmark a thread - go to your profile and edit your notification settings to set how you are alerted to new posts.
