Creating bones and movements in own character

in New Users
Hello, I'm starting now in Daz Studio, and I have a question. I have a personal character that I modeled in other software, I exported it to the Daz but I would like to know how I add bones and movements in it, what tool is used, is it possible in daz? thank you.

There are two methods, though both are easier if the imported mesh has groups for the bones. You can import the geometry into the Figure Setup pane, by right-click in the listing panel on the left, then drag it into the Relationships panel on the right, rearrange the hierarchy, change rotation order by right-click, and create a basic figure from that or you can import the model into the viewport via File>Import, convert to a single bone figure via Edit>Object>Rigging then use the Joint Editor tool's right-click menu to add bones on the fly. Once you have a basic figure by either route you use the Joint Editor to set the bone positions, then the Geometry Editor and Node Weight Paint Brush to edit the bending.
