Question about self made pose presets

I did some custom poses that I use here and there, not tons, maybe a dozen. Anyway, when I made them I just did them from the basic, start up, where the character loads screen. The problem I'm running into is the geography for environments is different and I'm always having to drag and rotate them to wear I need them. The character that is. I have tons of other poses that I purchased and I notice that they load "in place". Like if a character is sitting on a couch and I want them to stand, they adopt that pose in the same location they were sitting in. How do i need to save my pose presets so they do that?

Any help would be much appreciated!

    You need to unckeck the translation/rotation settings for the body when saving your pose preset, so that the preset doesn't set them when you apply the pose.

    Also, if you haven’t fixed the presets yet, if you hold down the CTRL key when you apply them (as I recall) you can tell Daz not to apply the translation portion of the preset. 

    But having the pose not include translation to begin with is the better solution, of course.
