I save character and clothes and accessories don't save

I gave my character some clothes, shoes, glasses, and a hat and I saved as a character preset so I can use the character as is all the time without dressing it.  When I reload Daz and select the character preset everything is gone and the character is nude.  What am I doing wrong?

Notice that when you save a character preset, it only gives you options for shape and materials, not for other items aside from the figure.

There are a few ways to do what you want. One is to use a Scene Subset. With that, you can include the figure, clothes, hair and even pose. A subset can be added to an existing open scene, too.
