Yeah, slightly oriental outfits without skimpwear traits? Me gustan!
Nice new outfit. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Thank you for the latest G2F long skirt and top - looks really useful. Good work as ever! :-)
This looks wonderful, thank you.
A beautiful and useful outfit - thank you!
Thank you for the new top and skirt.
Thank you so much!
It is lovely!
Thanks! These look like choli-lengha to me! :)
I don't know where you get these ideas from, but this is basically a long skirt and a crop top! Nothing oriental about it.
Apart from the v-neck, it looks very much like a saree

:)
Sorry Kerya, but it looks nothing like a sari.
A sari consists of a length of material wrapped around the hips a couple of times.
But the foundation for the saree - the blouse - looks like that. And ok, the skirt is not wrapped in yours, but with a bit of texturing you can make it look wrapped.
With the right textures it could indeed be made to look like a Choli Lengha, which just goes to show how versatile it is
Choli Lengha
Well, such long, slightly flared skirts are quire common in Southeast Asia. Your outfits are very versatile and with textures, they can fit into many genres. The blouse that doesn't entirely cover the tummy rings the bell too.
Do you think you could consider making a tuxedo for Genesis/Gen2M? Or some kids' clothes like salopettes?
Adding into the conversation, a quickie test render (tons of clipping, probably too high specularity, etc). Shaders make things super versatile with good material zones. The drape is from the Greek set.
Zamuel, that's gorgeous! Good job!
As I said, it's not a sari sensus stricto, but it looks quite alike, so with textures and shaders, one can make nice things to go with such themes. I'm convinced it's more Southeast Asia than Indian. Anyway, I adore Wilmap's clothes, have literally every ever released on ShareCG and I stick to that habit :P.
choli Lengha (choli is the blouse and the lengha is the skirt) are worn in several ares of India, including western, central and northern areas, plus in the Punjab, which is partially Indian and partially Pakistani.
My Indian friend wears them all the time in preference to a Saree, as they are so much easier to put on. Mostly worn with a Dupatta traditionally although nowadays many bright young things wear them without.
And I agree that Zamuel has done a good job there, does look good.
OK I concede that with the right textures it could look like a sari type outfit, as shown by Zamuel's lovely render.
It's up to you what you do with it and how you texture it, but no matter what you all do with it, it is still NOT a Sari!
I did NOT make a Sari. I made a plain long skirt and crop top, so please do NOT call it a Sari.
Now can we let the matter drop please.
Thank you Wilmap for sharing with us your wonderful creations! :)
Here is my render using Genesis 2Female Long Greek Style Dress.
What a beautiful render Tarina Kivi.
Thank you.:-)
Thanks! I'm glad you like it. :) Couldn't work without your dress, it was perfect for what I had in mind. ^^
Lovely thing, Karina! What morph is that?
Thank you! The morph is a combination of a 10-year-old preset from the Growing Up for Genesis2 Female(s) and V6, my own face morph created in ZBrush plus some eye morphs from Genesis 2 Female Head Morphs and Genesis 2 Female Head Morph Resource Kit. Oh, and it's Tarina not Karina. =P
Here is another one from me. The woman wears a blouse from Two Dress from film Frozen for G2 Female and skirt from
G2F Long Skirt & Top.
Grief
My kids are really into Frozen, so when I saw these awesome dresses I just had to make some fan art. Here's my take on Anna...
That's lovely Scott. Thank you.
Good work, Scott! Perhaps if you use Eclypse's morph, you will get closer to the "booby head" style Disney's been pursuing for the last months (years?).
Wilmap, I've seen your stuff on Share CG, and recently read a question you posed in another thread in another part of the forum. The question was something along the lines of "Could I actually sell my content?"
Allow me to say that not only is your content of such a uniform quality that would be quite acceptable to any artist, I, myself would buy your content without hesitation. You also fill a desperately needed niche in the contemporary genre.
Your historically inspired offerings exhibit the same quality and attention to detail. Thus, I would purchase those as well.
The fact that you make these available to all, gratis, is quite astonishing, and I deeply appreciate your efforts,
While health issues have contributed to my being less active as an artist these days, I still keep my finger on the pulse of the Digital art community, as well as putter around with Daz Studio (puttering is about all I can do these days, as a stroke two years ago led to a bit of a loss of focus, and drive to really do what I once did, but that is another story...)
Once again, thank you deeply for your efforts.
Thanks, wilmap and cecilia! :)
LOL! Undoubtedly true...probably Eclypse plus Girl 6 would be a good start...but I was aiming at a more realistic version of the character.
Working on Elsa too...might take a while to get it right though.
Oh, Wilmap, do you think you could consider making a few outfits inspired by the Addams family please? I can see you creating stunning clothes for Wednesday, Grandmama and Morticia, not to mention the rest. You know... Like in "Family Values", it is a masterpiece.

My pleasure! I don't remember the artist's nick, but there were several realistic renders of Anna and Elsa on DA (labeled as... ElsAnna?). They were very good, but nude, so I cannot show them to the little ones. I think you will get pretty close to the realistic vision soon, you're the Genesis wizard - I will eagerly see the results.
And remember... LET THEM BURN . I couldn't resist. A friend persuaded me to watch it with him and well... Yes, it is officially confirmed: I AM A CRONE. Who cares.
