from Macintosh HD to Macintosh SSD

HI,
I recently changed from a Macbook Pro to iMac.
So I moved my DS4 to this new machine.  It turned out that this iMac has Macintosh SSD instead of Macintosh HD to begin with.  But all my collection of 3D models are stored following a path that begins with Macintosh HD which is how my old Macbook Pro was set up. I now worried that my serveral GB of 3D model collection cannot be used anymore unless I changed their usage path one by one manually.  Please help, how I may make this transition in an efficient way?  And, I also wonder if one can store their DS studio and stuffs in any external drive so no matter what version of computer one change to, he or she can still pull the 3d collection out to use easily.

My content is all on an external drive, I'm not a Mac user though but on a PC it works no problem, you just have to make sure you have set DS to see that path

You can change the path in DS Studio. Go to Edit-->Preferences-->DB Content directory Manager.

You need to change the directories for DAZ and Poser content, as a lot of stuff uses both directory types.
