I set max render time to 60 seconds, but the rendering didn't automatically stop?

I set max render time to 60 seconds, but the render just kept going. It didn't stop after one minute. Anyone know why?

Worked for me, even if I increase the Min samples to the point that it can't reach it in a minute and set the Converged ration to 100%. Is your sceen taking more than 60 seconds to upload to prepare, before the actual rendering starts?

Because you have "minimum samples" at 100, and the same for Min Update Sample. Minimum requirement beats maximum requirement, and in 60 seconds, you usually don't get 100 iterations done. I recommend you change those two values back to the default setting.

Also, with just 60 seconds render time, Render quality 6 and convergence 100% make no sense at all.

I did as you said and it works now, thank you.

I tried that and it seemed to stop rendering, which is why I didn't suggest it. Possibly my scene was too simple.
