How do I save fitted hair back into the content library?

I have Rose Hair loaded into my scene.  It's been morphed and auto fitted to G8F. Now I want to save this hair back into the content library for future use.

I tried saving the hair as a wearable, but all that does it save G8F, not the hair.

I only want to save the hair back into the content library as future hair I can use on G8F.

Instead of selecting the hair while you save as a wearable, select G8F and then save it as a wearable. Then only check the hair in the next window that comes up and click accept.

I figured it out. I have to save it as "scene subset".  Isn't Hair technically a wearable?

You can save it as a wearable too, just have to select G8F instead of the hair as I said.

Is the hair parented to Geensis 8 Female? That's the requirement for a Wearables preset.

I selected G8F, then I can save the fitted hair as a wearable by selecting it in the window that comes up.
