high-res Skyboxes

My 3D Spin

Is there anyway to use Iray on  high-res Skyboxes Easy Envirorment, instead of 3D Delight.

3D Delight renders dont look as good as IRay. What Render settings would work?

As for now all i get is a blck Viewport when i try. Changing the Film ISO will show the ground
but the sky is all white

After loading the skybox select it and look to see what image is used in the diffuse chanel. Open the ènvironment pane and use that image in the environment map of the iray dome, delete the skybox from the scene. The skybox/skydomes block any lights placed outside it in iray.

Thanks but in environment map i get a static background image and cant move it around

Are you sure you haven't used the menu environment and used it as a background? When it is added to the environment dome you just rotate the dome to move the image round.

Yes i also tried loading the picture in environment Map in Rendersettings but the quality was lousy. How much i tried changing settings

Are you using the right image? When you click on the map in the environment settings it gives you the choice of searching but there will be a lost of images that are already loaded for the scene, choose the one that is being used in the diffuse chanel of the skydome. It wont be great but it should still work.
