Can't use a partial pose that I presumably saved.

I am having problems applying a partial pose that I saved.  For example;

1. I created a figure.

2. I posed the legs of the figure.

3 I selected   File/save as/pose preset   and gave it a file name as requested in the dialog.

4. In the following dialog, I cleared everything and then selected the pelvis and everything down to the toes.

5. I saved the file.  (I checked, and it is there)

So far, so good...

Now the problem...

1. I chose a scene where I want a figure in that scene to use the saved pose.

2. I selected that figure.  (By the way, the figure is Michael 8 and the saved partial pose is a Male 2)

3. I went to the pose dialog but the saved partial pose is nowhere in the list given.  I searched everywhere in the pose dialog but I can't find it.

I went back and created a Genesis Male 2 figure, selected that figure and tried to apply the partial pose.  No luck.  What should I do to make the partial pose visible so I can select it?

    The problem has been solved!  I was not saving my saved poses in the correct directory which is My Library/presets/poses.

    Glad you got the saving sorted out, But FYI, a pose created for Genesis 2 Male will not pose Michael 8 correctly, because there are different generation figures. It might look close enouth to satisfy you, or not. Did you mean that you created the pose for Genesis 8 Male. That would work.

  • The directory to which you save, as long as it is in a content directory and not in the Runtime, Readme's, or Data folders within the content directory if you wish to apply the pose through the Content Library, is not important
