Scene Too Small When Trying To Navigate Around

Hi. I have several scenes and when I am trying to navigate around in perspective view the scene seems too small. I zoom in what seems like just a tad for a different angle and all of a sudden I am hitting the wall or the ceiling. How can I either make scene larger or make camera view smaller so it wont feel so tight when I navigate around it? Thanks.

Try selecting a scene element and using ctrl-f (frame) or ctrl-shift-a (aim) to make sure that your camera's centre of rotation is an item in the scene, that should help.
Whoa! That sounds like a handy short cut! I clicked this thread because I have this problem all the time. Thanks Richard!
It might also help to create an actual camera and look through that. The Perspective View is exactly what it says on the tin — it's a View, not a Camera. True cameras have more controls, and will be included in the scene when you save it and load it back in later. The Perspective View settings are not saved, when you reload a scene that uses it, the View settings are returned to the default.
