Facegen Artist Pro files into Daz.....

I am wondering if anyone can help. I'm pretty much new to Daz as well as Facegen.....while I have a background in photoshop, I still find Daz and FG confusing. One problem I am having is importing a facegen file into Daz. It saves as .dsf and Daz doesn't read that file. When I manually look for the file, it's not there. I have tried saving the FG file as a genesis female, genesis 3 female and genesis 8 female. I have followed the directions facegen says to apply the rendered face but the file is never there. I have tried following what I could find on line to figure this out and those steps still do not work. When I search in regular windows explorer, the file is where it is supposed to be. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Is there anyone out there who can help me and not make me feel like I just wasted perfectly good money on a bum product?

  • DS should show .dsf files, however I think those output from FaceGen may be being placed in teh \Data folder for morphs for the selected figure, after which they will appear as a slider on newly loaded copies of the figure.

  • Yeah, after I posted my question I went back and was messing around with another character and that is where I found the slider from facegen....Though, shen I used the slider when I was trying to make that character, the face didn't look like what I created in facegen.....not sure what the issue is there.....On a different note, is there any suggestions to reduce grain/noise from a render? I've extended render times but still getting an unwanted noise element in my renders.
