How to remove dark veins from light skin
Hey there! Another n00b question:
How do I remove dark veins from the skin of my light-skinned characters, or make them less prominent?
I know that IRL, people have them. But I'm not really going for a photorealistic look, and the dark veins bother me a little bit.
For an example of what I'm talking about, see this render I made: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/619421
There's one prominent vein on his left biceps, for example.
I'd like to not change the overall colour/look of his skin, just make the veins less prominent.
I'm using Iray, if that matters.
Cheers!

If the veins are baked into the diffuse maps you need to edit them in an external image editor (PS,Gimp). If the skin uses some other channels/maps for the veins (like displacement- normal- or SSS) you can maybe just adjust some parameters to make them less visible, or simply remove those maps if you don't need them for your skin. If removing the maps changes the look of the skin too much you need to edit those maps too.
