After having picked a camera angle, I inevitably end up moving in the scene while watching it with this camera. Is there a way to pin it so that I won't move it inadvertently (ideally, I'd prefer to still be able to zoom in/out)?
Go into the Parameters Tab for the camera and lock all the sliders. To reposition the camera if you need to then unlock the parameter for the direction you want the camera to go in, up/down, left/right or in/out then lock it again.
You could also select the camera and use Edit>Object>Memorise>Memorise Element, then Edit>Object>Restore>Restore Element to correct any accidental changes.
I want to add select all items like cameras, lights and props then Edit>Object>Memorize>Memorize Selected Items. Now if you get in some trouble while editing those items on different frames on the timeline and things start floating around and lights start to change over time use Edit>Object>Clear Animation>Clear Selected Items to reset them to the memorized state and clear all of those keyframes.

Select the camera, go to Edit > Figure>Lock>Lock Selected Node(s)
