Hi, Is possible to adapt this item (https://www.daz3d.com/alyssa-hair-for-genesis-2-female-s) to genesis 3? If not, someone know a similar hairstyle for genesis 3?

Thank you.

  • Generally hair is fairly easy to handle - just load it with nothing else in the sceen selected, so it won't try to fit (if it does, and the AutoFit dialogue opens, cancel it) then position and scale (and morph) it so it is on the figure's head, with a bit of scalp poking through where that can't be avoided (rather than leaving a gap). Parent the hair to the head of the figure, so it will move with the head, and go to Edit>Figure>Geometry>Applying Smoothing Modifier. Finally, in the Parameters pane under Mesh Smoothing, set the Collision target to the Genesis 3 figure wearing the hair to deal with any remaining poke-through. You will then have to manually pose the longer hair to adapt to the figure pose

    That's very helpful! Thank you!
