can I use textures for Genesis 1 on Genesis 2

I have an easy question. Can I use skin textures for Genesis 1 on Genesis 2 basic female? I remember reading a thread that says we can't use V4 skins on Genesis 2 female(s). I missed the thread that talked about using old skin textures on Genesis 2 female.

Because I don't have any extra money to buy skin textures just for Genesis 2 female I thought I would save some money by using the textures of Genesis 1 that I already have.

I should've bookmarked the thread. Yes, I even did a search for the thread but I couldn't find it. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    You can use textures mapped for the V5 UVset on G2F

    To elaborate a bit on this answer:

    Genesis2FemaleStarterEssentials includes 2 UV maps called "Base Female" and "Victoria 5".

    I have not put the Victoria 5 uv map from this figure on top of the one from the original Victoria 5 figure but since the differences between Genesis and Genesis 2 Female are quite small I'd be very surprised if there were any problematic differences.

    However, please note that not all morphs/characters sold as "Victoria 5" compatible use the Victoria 5 uv map.
    Some of them actually use the V4 uv map... But thanks to MallenLane there is a Victoria 4 uv map available for Genesis 2 Female ;)

    ok, thanks for the information. I forgot about Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female and Victoria 5's UV Maps.

    Bree and Olivia are the only skins that has a UV map set for Victoria 5. Lora has a UV map set for Victoria 4. I will buy Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female soon.

    Oh yeah, I finally found the option to select a UV map for Genesis 2. You are right, Genesis 2 accepts V5's maps.

    I just installed Genesis 2 female today so I was a bit confused.
