After I had to reinstall my entire DAZ program and purchases, I started recreating my Disney characters using Joe Quick's Toon Duckie for Genesis 3 (and Toon Generations).  The original versions that I did used the Genesis version of the Duckie, as well as the Genesis Mouse (for the obvious).  Wish there was a Genesis 3 version of the Mouse.  Anyway, here are some examples:

    Donald and Daisy

Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie

Daisy's nieces, April, May and Jue

I just finished a quick render with Gus Goose and Grandma Duck (aka Elvira Coot).

Might as well share my JoeQuick-based Duck fam too, hope you like it.

PS: the right render is actually quite old. The left one is the slightly newer, upgraded model I did as a quick test to see if I could do a proper white duck fur (if you look closely, you'll see it's only used on the torso and hands, I didn't have time to work on the more complex leg and head layers). I also made a decent Daisy and Magicka, but they need some rework. Sadly never got around to do Uncle Scrooge (did do the prep work, so it'll happen one day).

Funny you should mention Scrooge, novastrider.  Here's Scrooge McDuck and his half brother, Rumpus McFowl.

I only recently started messing around with toons. Before that, I was only interested in photorealism, but I gave up on that partly because my hardware isn't up to snuff, and partly because I don't yet have the experience and aptitude for all that. Here are a couple things I threw together recently using Multi-Man. The only female toon I have at the moment is Aiko 4, so she's the one rebuffing Brock's advances in the first photo.

    Good Job...

In this thread you can ask SingularBlues if his morph transfer scripts are enough to transfer Multiman to G3F or G8M and G8F if you are working with G8. I know an older script he worked on was up to transferring the G3M Multiman from G3M to G8M but I didn't try to transfer to G8F or G3F.

Thanks, I'll definitely look into that. I've got a bunch of morph packs, clothing and characters for G8, but practically nothing for G3 aside from Multi-Man, so I've been pretty limited in what I can do so far.

I like what you've been up to with the ducks, novastrider and robbybobby.   Your fuzz is a good look novastrider. Good feathers is still something I'm trying to figure out.  I don't think I quite got there with the "hair" and eyebrows for the genesis 3 version.

Thank you. I had a longer answer with how it was done, but Daz signed me out of the forum while trying to post and cant rewrite the whole thing X(

But in short, it's based on UHD Fuzzy Cloth, the Merchant Resource. While it's originally made for cloth, you can actually make really good fur with it for antropomorphic creatures like bunnies and foxes (good detailed soft fur, not the spikey stuff you usually get when trying fur shaders) and renders really fast.

@rynmtylr: I like your first picture! That's Atlas, right? I love his build. I picked him up when he was discounted to almost nothing, but haven't done anything with him yet.

Nope, Multi-Man. Mostly body style 2, with body size and bodybuilder morphs worked in. I don't have Atlas yet, but from what I've seen, it's a much more realistic design. I don't think any other toon product available for Daz is as exaggerated as Multi-Man, which is why it's a shame that it's only available for Genesis 3 male.

Here, I'll give you another test I did more recently with it in 4K, so you can zoom in a bit.

So this is the free Krystal model that's been around for ages, from the Genesis 1 era (original to the right). To challenge myself I tried to make it as HD as possible, with a full Iray reshade of every texture.

For the skin I went with Fuzzy Cloth, chose one of the fuzzier, slightly longer styles (theres like 26 of them) and replaced the default fuzzy textures with the original skin texture. You need to do this 5 times; Fuzzy Cloth works with standard skin layer + a stack of 4 Shell Layers on top that give the illusion of depth. Just keep the Opacity maps, everything else can be replaced. In this case it's a full body fur, but if you don't want specific body parts (like hands or a belly) to be fuzzy, you need to black out those parts on the four Opacity maps in Photoshop (except the skin layer, because that's just skin).

The result is a fully HD fur skin with the original, decade old texture looking sharper than ever. And it renders in seconds, unlike LAHM and Strand. It's a great option for people who want to upgrade their antropomorph figures to the next generation, while keeping it soft and cartoony.

Quoting again because I just followed Sickleyield’s tutorial for transferring morphs using Transfer Utility, and it was shockingly easy. I saved myself a Multi-Woman for G3F, and will experiment with G8 when I get back home. I’m getting more comfortable with the deeper workings of Daz, so I may take a shot at creating Multi-Man-style feminine shapes.

It is easy. The scripts are for those that want to transfer a lot of characters.

Thanks. It's actually the G3 Santa Suit, the spats from the morphing tux and a top hat.

Good stuff folks.  WOW Robbie, I haven't seen you around these parts in a coons age.  Nice renders!

I tend to stay in the background these days.  I was diagnosed with an incurable disease in December 2017.  It's genetic, inherited from my father, and one of my two brothers has it, too.  I also had some major issues with DAZ Studio that led to me having to reinstall everything...including all my purchases.  It took forever and I lost a lot of my original characters.  I still can't get GenX2 to work.  I recently started playing with it again.

I hope they can keep you stablized and living as healthy as possible.  I've been HIV POZ for over 30 years, hasn't killed me yet!  LOL

On the DS side it's come a long way baby.  Hope you can recreate your characters in time.  HUGS
