comment: lots of atmopshere, and pretty lights, I'm impressed by Wendy's workflow and concept.

Artist: evilproducer
comment: really enjoyed learning from evil during the process - the finished image is exceptional, though I think it needs more gore

Entry: #8
Title: Silent Pioneer, Buster Keaton
Artist: Diomede (Ted Murphy)
Comment- having seen the clip that spurred this one into fruition I'm pretty amazed at what a good job Ted did of homaging it.
Thecircle within the square just sings of stability but the off centre compostion counteracts that elegantly.
-------------------
Other comments - really liked Bunyips Burke and wills - a very sad story if you know it and a worthy image to 'celebrate' there unfortunate deaths.
And LightofHeaven's work is conceptually fascinating - really like what has been achieved with this one. Looking forward to seeing what else LightOfHeaven comes up with in future challenges.
And Stezza's Dick Smith aviator is right on the mark - it's a beaut fair dinkim homage to an amzing Australian who once took on Red Head matches with his own brand of matches named after himself (first name plus Head)
Beaut work alberto, nicely run! And thanks to Dimension Theory for sponsoring once again!
As usual, there are a lot more entries that I wanted to vote for than I have votes available, and it is a really tough decision to narrow down the field - so congratulations to everyone who entered. But in the end my votes go to the following.
Entry # 3
Title: Dick Smith Aviator
Artist: Stezza
Entry # 10
Title: 78 Years
Artist: Bunyip02
Entry # 12
Title: In honour of Alfred P. Southwick (1826–1898) inventor of the Electric Chair
Artist: Headwax
D'oh! I forgot to vote! I was feeling under the weather and stuff has been busy, then I had to work ovetime! There were a lot of great entries! Everybody did a fantastic job.
Congratulations, Wendy, and the other winners. Looking forward to Wendy's reign as the all powerful one, if she accepts it.. Alberto, this was one of my favorite challenges. Thank you to everyone who found something to appreciate in the Buster Keaton image.

Well done all. I am looking forward to Wendy's chosen theme as well! Silene
I was not expecting to win, while honoured am petrified too
this is why I don't enter these things
thank you for everone who voted for me though all the same
I think there were so many worthy entries that should have won, I had trouble sticking to 3 choices
almost certainly will need help if I have to host one esp the dealings with DAZ, I try to avoid that, think only ever returned one product for example.

Don't be afraid... you will get lots of help from the pro's who have the time and inclination for organising and have been doing the heavy duty hosting work for others and am sure will make it a fun experience for you. I think you get to do the fun part of picking the theme!
Wendy - my hero (or my heroine, whatever), have a message for you.
!! Lots of help hosting if you want it !!
!! Just as important, you don't have to host if you don't want to !!
Seriously, we don't want people avoiding participation because they are afraid of winning. You have our full support if you host, and our full support if you don't. All good.
I do hope you host because you are so creative, but don't feel any sense of obligation.

I can certainly suggest a theme but yeah if someone else is willing to run the show I would willingly defer
any theme I'd suggest would be open to discussion and modification too
I also do not feel worthy, as I said the other entries were so awesome, I only tossed one in as was working on a video anyway

I thought it was one of your best renders ever, so it was a no-brainer for me.
As for hosting, it is not that hard, and you are long overdue. You have more than enough skills needed. I will send you a PM with a checklist.
