Looks good for a first try. I'm not familiar with the "Primivol" item, but I have used Carrara's own fire primitive for various effects (I use C8, not sure if its in C7). You can get a brief overview here:

Nice use of sound effects. If you had projected the building towards and around the camera, perhaps with some more random debris, the broken building staying together might have looked less apparent.
