Hello,
How could I export a 3D model so that it could be displayed in a real-tme 3D viewer? For example in the viewer the model could be inspected by dollying the camera around it and zooming in and out. I created the model in Carrara.
Thanks
Mike

there are a number of embedable veiwer websites like Sketchfab and a facebook feature that uses glb format that Blender has a plugin available for, most use one of those,
https://viewer.autodesk.com/ is another that uses FBX
otherwise on your own computer or others the FBX viewer download from Autodesk could work,

the old embedable flash type format Carrara 6 exported to no longer has browser support AFAIK.

Ive recently started using Marmoset Toolbag, it comes with a "Viewer" I think you can get the viewer free as a stand alone app.
The dragon animation above was done years ago in Carrara , I blew the dust of it and imported it as an FBX into Toolbag....mostly worked ....( doesnt import Morphs.)
But I am not sure If it will work on its own for inserting objects. Toolbags quite easy though.
well that works pretty well on my ipad
FBX viewer does Blendshapes which are morphs
actually for just obj and Poser props and figures, propviewer is also quite handy on your own or others computers

the drawbacks are it only loads one texture map and it's static as in a non moving prop you spin around unlike FBX viewer which spins around animated props
Thanks for the answers and possible viewers....
