how to show framelines in the view window

Hi all, I'm new to the software and have a question that might be trivial..

In the tutorial video's there is a frame-line that shows the render section in the view window.
So for example if one selects the render dimensions to 1:1 a square frame shows in the window indicating what is inside and what is outside the frame.

I do not see this frame, and hence I never know which part of the visible sub-window will end up in the render.
Is there a setting I have to change to make the frame-line visible?
I'm running DAZ 3D 4.6 pro on a mac.

regards,

M.

Click on the menu icon in the upper corner of any viewport, then select "show aspect frame", which will put a checkmark in front of it and use it for that viewport. If you have multiple viewports, you will have to do that for each viewport.
I have noticed that even though you use this option, sometimes pieces of the aspect frame bounding box won't be visible, for example an object might be drawn over it on one side of the screen but not on the other, but most of the time it works.
