  • I'd like to ask, is there a tutorial on how to create a cliffside, as if it appeared on the side of a highway?

So looking at playlists of tutorials, and after doing some of them, it looks like they are mostly about lighting and/or skies.

While terrain creating and/or modelling is lesser focus?

I fear, ladies and gentlemen, that this topic is for references to real lessons and their discussion. For questions on a specific topic, you need to create a separate branch or find an existing one.

  • is there tutorials on animation like how to add sound to it etc?

Hi Butterflyer welcome to the forum

Maybe this thread will help you with the animation, not sure about the sound though.

You will need video editing sortware to add sound to a Bryce animation. I don't know of any tutorials on animation in Bryce, but I can answer most questions on animating in Bryce.. Just start a new thread for them.

Hi Folks, it has been forever since I stopped by the forums My primary system was down for ages and the laptop my wife and I share is useless for 3D work like Bryce and DAZ. I finally after a few years was able to get my desktop up and running again and again slowly dipping my feet into my various 3D programs. I do have a question for some of the old timers here. Back in the day one of the talented crew here created a way to work with Bryce to bypass some crashes by using higher memory in the 64 bit systems.

I used to know the technique, but that was a number of years ago and I can't remember how to do it. My Bryce I currently have running is a reinstall as I had to redo lots with my old system including a full install of my OS and replacement of some drives with some new SSD units.Any ideas from the crew here is greatly appreciated. Thanks...   Bruce

Great to see you back, Bruce. You can make Bryce (and other 32-bit programs Large Address Aware (LAA) if your machine has at least 4 GB memory. The tool is free and its size is 42 KB (kilo, not mega). Watch this video I made a while ago:

Hello, my name is Carlos, I have used Bryce for many years and I am discovering new ways to do animation, I have a problem that I would like you to help me solve, there is the 2D face that by pressing "control" and giving it animation time turns into particles , I see that the particles come out of the 2D face but I cannot control the size of the particles or the speed or quantity, I know it can be done because at some point I did it, what I don't remember was how I did it, what keys I should press or how to make the options I mention appear, thank you very much and I hope you can help me

    Edited for formatting

Carlos, I got your email and sent you an answer yesterday explaining how it works. If you have not got the email, post a comment here and I copy what I have written to you.
