"Discarded Lives" -- Issue 3 Sneak Peak
Hey, folks --
"Discarded Lives" is a web-based 3D comic book series built using DAZ3D as its core character generation system. Though numerous packages are utilized in its production (Photoshop, Lightwave, ZBrush, and Vue, in particular,) I could not create this product without the flexibility of the Genesis system or DAZ Studio.
Issues One and Two are online and ready to view. Issue Three is currently in production, with a release date scheduled for the end of September. The story runs over eight issues, and all remaining scripts are already "in the can." The challenge now is to generate the best possible artwork that I can on a realistic schedule.
As a way of saying "Thank you" to both the developers of this product and this community, I've decided to provide a sneak peak of the first twelve pages of Issue 3. I couldn't have come this far on this project with either the kind support of a few posters and the DAZ product itself. It only feels right to give something back.
Please enjoy this sneak peak at Issue 3 of "Discarded Lives."

...and the next five pages, which, for some reason, will only post backwards. Start at the bottom image and work your way up.
...and the final two pages of the preview, which, as with the second set of pages, posted backwards.
Here are some additional sneak-peak images from the upcoming issue.
I like your use of special effects (magic energy stuff). Something I enjoy toying with myself.
Hey, everyone --
Issue 3 is finally completed. It's a double sized piece, weighing in at 39 pages. The pages comic will be hitting the discardedlives.com on its two-page-per-week release schedule starting this Tuesday.
For a quick glance at what lies ahead, individual panels from all three issues may be found on my gallery page:

I'm bundling up Issues 1 - 3 soon as "Volume 1," as they form the first act of the complete story. I'm compiling working notes, thumbnails, as well as a step-by-step breakdown of my process to include in that particular tome. Expect an announcement about its availability soon.
Thanks for reading!
