SERVANT's ART (Comics, Fan art, and other stuff)
Hi, guys and gals! I keep forgetting to put up a thread for my digital comic SERVANT here in the ART Studio, but I finally got to it today!
First of all, I'd like to let everyone know that in celebration of Servant's 16 years (created 1997) and as my belated birthday gift last September 5th to everyone, the first issue of the digital comic is available now for FREE Download (in PDF, CBZ, and EPUB formats)! Check the link here: http://comics.drivethrustuff.com/product/102925/Servant-#1?manufacturers_id=4502
I use many DAZ products in the comic (love Genesis!), as well as other Poser products from elsewhere. On that note, I'd like to thank the generous creators who put out freebies which I use throughout the comic. You all rock!
Here are sample pages from the first issue:

Here's the cover for the Second Issue, also available through Drivethrucomics (bundled with #1, too!)

I've done a few profile pics for the Servant Official Facebook page, starting off with the main character, Servant aka Gabriel Barreon/Gal-Ang (found here https://www.facebook.com/SERVANTRULES).
College Student. Call Center Agent. Sky God. Superhero. That's the gist of who Servant is and what he's about. ^_^
Another profile pic. This time, it's Servant rival/love interest, Katsuko Del Maestro.
The current cover photo at the Servant Facebook Page:
Here's another profile pic. This is for Servant's "gal-pal", pain in the butt, and other love interest, Alexandra "Alex" Del Maestro.
Here's another profile pic. This is my version of the public domain character the American Crusader who will be making an appearance in Servant in a future issue.
Gabriel (aka Servant) and Alex taking selfies at the Call Center Hub. Back to work, you slackers! :)
Preview page from the second issue, with a brief recap of a key point from the first issue and the repercussions.
Page from Issue #2 showing Victor Del Maestro's meeting with the Kinchan's "Mighty Ruler".
Another page from issue #2, this time with Servant in his alter ego Gabriel, and his mortal parents, Police Captain Guerrero and Dr. Stella Barreon. All characters are built with Genesis!
WIP panel for Issue #3. Using the wonderful BEO Archangel as a threat for Servant to deal with.
Title Page from the 1st Issue
Another preview of Issue #3 with Servant visiting his kingdom, Sinilangan. Had to do this one using Bryce and Daz studio.
I wanted to have a look at the first issue but the site wants me to create an account... :shut: But from what you posted it looks like an interesting comic. That was a lot of hard work, you have my admiration.
Oh, yeah. Drivethrucomics requires registration before you can order anything. Registration is free, though, and you have the option to not receive promo emails and others unless you want to. Registration is quick and easy and it allows you to publish your comics, too. They only take the percentage off your sales (about 35%) unless it's offered free.
Still, if you don't want to register with the site at all, let me know your email address and I'll send you a copy of the first issue in either PDF, CBZ, or EPUB format. I could also send you a copy in MOBI if you prefer using Kindle. EPUB and MOBI are in black and white/grayscale, however.
Thanks for your interest and appreciation!
One of the recent promo images I made for Issue #2.
Preview of #3. Servant and his mentor, Guro, having a conversation.
Page from Issue #2. Gabriel/Servant having a heart to heart with his parents, Guerrero and Stella Barreon.
Another preview for issue #3 (or possibly #4). Katsuko muses. What or who could she be thinking about?
As a side note, Jack Tomalin's wonderful Retro Deco set used in this shot is just so versatile!
By the way, I've offered up Servant #1 as a webcomic if anyone doesn't want to download it in full over at Drivethrucomics for whatever reason. Currently, it's available at:

I should have everything in synch by Monday so that updates follow a Monday and Friday schedule. Thanks in advance for checking it out!

Haven't updated in a long while due to personal concerns that left me in a very bad place (finance, health, and an engagement that was aborted). Getting back on my feet has been harder thanks to my hard drive crashing and even the backups went missing. I'm just thankful not all my art is lost and issues 1 and 2 were saved in my email. Issue 3's pages, however, were still WIPs so all of them went kablooey.
Anyway, after some time finding the strength to go on, made some progress with rebuilding from almost scratch. One of them is making overall improvements with the character designs. Here are a few, with the updated looks of the central cast:
Yikes. Been 3 years since I last updated. Here's a promo image I did recently:
A fan piece of Warhammer 40K's Ultra Marine Adeptus Astartes.
These are very well done, hope you post more.
Thank you, @FirePro9! I will endeavor to do so
Another Warhammer 40K piece with a trio of Ultra Marines
This one is awesome!
Wow this looks amazing! I will have to go see about downloading the first set on my kindle. It will be really fun to see stuff from Daz in it as well.
Wow! Very nice artwork in here! I love the Warhammer stuff! :)
