I'm a DAZ Deadbeat, meaning I use DAZ for free with no intention of buying anything.  So, my basic male is wearing the JS outfit.  He's barefoot because I didn't like the boots on him. The pose is "kid standing", slightly modified about the waist. I made him a boy because I liked the memories of boyhood fantasies it inspired in me. I use GIMP for photo editing (free!) and at some point I cropped the backdrop image, making the figure scaled too large so that he ran over the edges of the photo.  I liked the effect, and added a new layer, trying several colors and settling on brown.  I debated whether to keep the border, and decided to leave it that way.  It looks like a book cover or a magazine spread.
