Can I still use Genesis 1 in DAZ studio 4.6?

Is it still possible to use the old content files from Daz Studio 4.5 to 4.6?(I am using the 32 bit ver of 4.5) I'm really concerned if I do upgrade to 4.6 I would not be able to use my old files(especially content files for Genesis 1) for it. What is the advantage of the new Genesis 2(which separated the male and female models....which I have to buy again new content for it)

I would like to apologize in advance for the really newbie question.


If it is still usable, what is the best way to ensure a proper installation of 4.6?

    Yes, you can use your 4.5 content in 4.6. Installing it won't uninstall any content.

    Thanks for the speedy reply, so I dont have to do a clean uninstall 4.5? I just download 4.6 and install?

    Yes, The DS4.6 installer version (.exe) will even uninstall DS4.5 for you.
